Conditions for commercial vehicle rental SIMA de VerhuurXpert

All rental agreements are subject to the rental terms and conditions of SIMA de VerhuurXpert. These terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of the SIMA de VerhuurXpert website under the section “Voorwaarden” (Terms and Conditions).

Rental period:

The minimum rental period is one day and starts at the time of delivery, ending a maximum of 24 hours later.

Insurance:

The rental rate includes insurance and passenger accident insurance. An excess of €1000.00 applies to any damage.

Additional terms:

• The renter/driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid Dutch category B driving license for at least 2 years

• Our vehicles may only be used within the Netherlands

• Damage to transported goods and personal belongings is always at the renter’s own risk

• All rates exclude fuel costs. The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. If not, we will refuel the vehicle and deduct the fuel cost plus a €25.00 refueling surcharge from the deposit

• Roof and overhead damage (above 1.9 meters or above the windows) is always the responsibility of the renter/driver

Fuel:

All our commercial vehicles run on regular diesel.

Breakdown:

Our vehicles are in good condition. However, should you unexpectedly experience a breakdown, you can contact the roadside assistance service at 088 - 26 92 100. Provide the membership number 500069778 and the vehicle’s license plate number. You will be assisted anywhere in the Netherlands within a reasonable time. SIMA de VerhuurXpert is not responsible for any consequences resulting from breakdowns during the rental period. Costs resulting from flat or damaged tires are always the responsibility of the renter/driver.

Fines:

Fines (including a €25.00 administration fee) incurred during the rental period are fully the responsibility of the renter/driver.

Identification:

Double identification is required, including a valid Dutch driver’s license and an EU passport/ID card or address verification in the form of a bank statement or phone subscription statement with valid address details, no older than 30 days. A copy of all documents (which may also be emailed) must be available at SIMA de VerhuurXpert before the vehicle is rented out.

Deposit:

Before the start of the rental period, the deposit must be received by SIMA de VerhuurXpert. The deposit can be paid via iDEAL, cash, debit card, or transferred in advance to SIMA de VerhuurXpert’s bank account (IBAN: NL29 RABO 0105 0850 65).

Other:

All our rates, except for the deposit, include VAT and insurance, but exclude fuel costs.
The first 100 kilometers per rental day are included. After that, an additional €0.18 (€0.15 excluding VAT) per kilometer will be charged.
The SBD arrangement at SIMA de VerhuurXpert does NOT apply to our commercial vehicles/motor vehicles with mandatory own insurance and cannot be selected in combination with a commercial vehicle reservation.
