General Terms and Conditions SIMA de VerhuurXpert

Rental Period:

At SIMA de VerhuurXpert, you have the following options:

A half day is a maximum of 4 hours per day, either from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM or from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

A day is a maximum of 24 hours. This period starts at the moment of delivery and ends 24 hours later. An exception applies to trailer rentals: in that case, a day runs from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays.

An extra day follows the first rental day and begins at the end time of the previous day, continuing for another 24 hours. Each additional day adds another 24 hours, starting from the previous end time.

A weekend rental starts on Saturday morning and ends before 9:00 AM on the following Monday. This is charged as 1.5 days. If returned after 9:00 AM, it will be counted as 2 full days.

A week consists of 7 days, starting from the time of delivery and continuing for 7 × 24 hours.

Pick-up:

All rented tools and/or machines can be picked up during opening hours at our location on Industrieweg 24 in Eindhoven.

Identification:

We ask all renters to present valid Dutch identification with a photo (EU passport, identity card, or driver’s license). We always record the document number, and also the address, phone number, and if applicable, email address of the person picking up the rental. In some cases, we may make a copy of the ID, which is destroyed immediately after the rental has been returned.

Security Deposit:

All items rented from SIMA de VerhuurXpert represent significant value. Therefore, we always require a security deposit from private customers and businesses who do not have an account with us.

Cleaning and Repairs:

SIMA de VerhuurXpert ensures that all rented items are delivered clean and in good condition. We expect that items are returned in the same condition. If not, we are required to charge extra cleaning and/or repair fees.

Wear and Tear:

For user wear on certain accessories (e.g., diamond drills, diamond blades, chisels, and chains), extra charges apply. This does not apply to all accessories and is always indicated by SIMA de VerhuurXpert. Additional charges also apply to tools and accessories that are broken or unusable after the rental period.

Accessories:

Some accessories can be rented from SIMA de VerhuurXpert, while others can only be purchased. Unused accessories will, of course, be accepted back.

Liability:

The renter is always 100% liable and is NOT insured through SIMA de VerhuurXpert.

Fines:

All fines (including traffic tickets) and associated handling fees (€25.00) incurred during the rental period are fully the responsibility of the renter/driver.
