PRICE INCREASE

SIMA de VerhuurXpert has been facing an increasing number of customers who fail to return rented items, as well as customers who do not meet their financial obligations.

That is why, a few months ago, we began implementing several measures, including tightening our terms and conditions, increasing the deposit for some of the more expensive tools, and requesting a higher deposit for rentals longer than one day. Unfortunately, these measures have not yet yielded the desired results.

Therefore, in early April 2022, we launched a completely new reservation system. The advantage of this system is that we now require more customer information to make a reservation, including a name, address, city, phone number, and email address. Additionally, customers are still required to present a valid Dutch ID, and we will note the document number. In some cases, we may make a copy of this ID, which will be immediately destroyed once the rented item is returned.

With the introduction of this new system, we kindly ask our customers to make reservations via our website as much as possible, as the system tracks our inventory and immediately indicates whether an item is available. The customer also has the option to pay the deposit directly via iDEAL, which helps reduce waiting times in the store.

Another measure we have taken is to equip a large portion of our inventory with trackers, ensuring that everything remains traceable. You, as a customer, will not notice this, but it is very important for us.

Of course, all these measures incur costs, and given that everything has become more expensive, we have had to decide to implement a price increase. Despite this increase, we will remain the most affordable rental company in Eindhoven.
